WHAT ARE DONATI ELECTRIC CHAIN HOISTS?
Donati electric chain hoists are a range of lifting solutions produced by Italian manufacturer Donati Cranes. Donati were formerly a subsidiary of American lifting and handling corporation, Terex, but due to the divestment of their Marine handling and Port Solutions business, they have been a subsidiary of Finnish crane manufacturer Konecranes since 2017. Since being founded in 1930, Donati Cranes have earned a leading position on the international market for lifting and handling equipment. Donati Electric Chain Hoists are used in a wide range of lifting operations across many different sectors, including construction, warehousing and manufacturing.
Donati are fully certified by the ISO, (international organisation for standardisation) meaning that all lifting equipment meets a standardised criteria for safety and performance, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of lifting operations.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF A DONATI ELECTRIC CHAIN HOIST?
Donati Electric Chain Hoists present you with a range of lifting capacities and speeds to choose from, with a maximum lifting capacity of 4000kg. The range of speeds vary for single chain fall and double chain fall hoists, with single chain fall hoists having a maximum lifting speed of 16 m/min for their four pole motor configuration and 4.5m/min for their pole change motor configuration, whereas double chain fall hoists have a maximum lifting speed of 4m/min and 3.2m/min respectively.
This range of configurations make Donati Electric Chain hoists suitable for a range of lifting operations. Furthermore, the hoist has a range of trolley attachment options to choose from, including eye, push trolley and electric travel trolley.
Donati Electric Chain hoists have a modular makeup, which means that they are simple to set up and maintain, but this also makes them very compact. Additionally, the hoists are suitable for use within the range of standard operating temperatures, these being -10°C and +40°C.
As standard, hoists with a capacity above 2000kg come with a limiting switch, but this can also be requested for hoists with lifting capacities below 2000kg too.
